What Are Jobs?

Jobs are a simple and reliable way to earn money on CivSMP. When you're in a job, you get paid automatically for performing in-game tasks tied to that job. The more you do, the more you earn — and as your job level increases, so does your pay.

Open the jobs menu with /jobs.

Job Slots

By default, every player can hold one job. As you level up through /levels, you can unlock up to three job slots — letting you earn from multiple income streams at once.

The 12 Jobs

Combat Jobs

Exploration & Gathering Jobs

Crafting Jobs

🏗️ Builder	Placing blocks and building structures

⚗️ Alchemist	Brewing and splashing potions
✨ Enchanter	Enchanting and combining items

Jobs & Skills

Each job is linked to one of the 12 skills. When you're working in a job, you gain a bonus to XP earned in that job's corresponding skill. For example, a Miner earns extra Mining skill XP, while a Fighter earns extra Fighting skill XP.

This makes pairing your job with your intended skill progression a smart strategy.

Tips for Maximising Job Income

• Unlock multiple job slots — three jobs running at once significantly increases your income
• Pair complementary jobs — Miner and Builder work great together
• Level your jobs up — higher job levels mean higher pay per action
• Set up efficient farms — passive income from farming or mining adds up fast
• Combine with voting — voting daily gives you extra cash on top of job income
