Your Level represents your overall progression on CivSMP. It's separate from your Minecraft XP and your skill levels — it's a global measure of how much you've invested in the server.
Each time you level up, you receive rewards — and certain progression gates like extra job slots and home slots unlock as you hit specific milestones.
The maximum level is 60. Reaching it is the ultimate prestige on CivSMP — a true mark of dedication.
Level XP is earned through a variety of activities:

Note: Level XP is not the same as Minecraft experience (the green bar). They are completely separate systems.
As you level up, you progressively unlock more of what CivSMP has to offer:
/sethome locationsAchievements are milestones that track your progress and reward you with Level XP. There are many achievements to complete, each one marking a step forward in your journey — and each one can only be unlocked once. Browse them all in your Player Profile menu.
Discoveries let you earn rewards by exploring the server. Find hidden and important locations across the survival worlds to complete them. Discoveries are tied to the specific world you're standing in and can be viewed on the map for each world.
As you level up and progress through the Skilltree and quests, you'll unlock custom recipes — unique crafting recipes not found in vanilla Minecraft. All custom recipes can be crafted in a standard crafting table. Browse your unlocked recipes in the Player Profile menu.
